Canadian Artist Patricia Banks is best known for her detailed oil, acrylic, and watercolour paintings. Seascapes, Landscapes, Florals and Wildlife are among the many subjects that draw her attention. She travels widely and is inspired by the magnificence and splendor of the natural environment.

Patricia's paintings begin outdoors with direct experience and observation in nature. She can often be found painting on location outdoors, or in her studio using her plein air paintings and other reference material she has gathered to create larger paintings.

Patricia's focus on the wonders and beauty of the natural world has earned her Signature Status as a member of the Artists For Conservation. As a member of this select group of 500 of the world's most gifted nature artists, from 30 countries, on five continents, Patricia is dedicated to nurturing, promoting and supporting conservation through her artwork. Patricia has exhibited across Canada, the USA and China. Her work can be found in collections throughout the world.

Her work has been published in Artists for Conservation International Exhibit of Nature in Art hardcover books for the years 2016 through 2025, as well as in International Artist Magazine, Nanaimo Magazine, and several others.
